Good morning all,
It was very unbelievable last night and a huge honour to win Most Performed Rock Song (yes rock song!) at the APRA AMCOS virtual awards with a song I wrote for my good mate Jimmy Barnes, called “Shutting Down Our Town.”
Jim’s first book really was a great read as they both were and the song pretty much fell off those pages I have to say.
I want to thank all involved – Kev Shirley produced it, Jimmy’s band played incredibly on it and Mushroom/Liberation’s Waz and Dean ran with it.
So a reason to smile today while we try to get back to normal with our lives… I can’t wait to play a gig or two for you all, believe me!!
